Valentines Day Ideas

This Valentines Day, most of us guys will get our girlfriends and wives a box of chocolates and a dozen roses and call it good. What you don’t know, is that she’ll smile and say thank you, and inwardly be disappointed at your unoriginality. Why not spice it up a little with some of these great Valentines Day Ideas:

- Cook her a romantic dinner: Yes, it’s a little cliché, but you’ll be her hero because cliché or no, it never seems to happen anymore. You don’t have to be a great chef, just make something nice and she will love you for it. Candles and rose petals are always a nice touch too.
- Sing a love song: Voice of an angel or no, she’ll fall for you all over again when she hears her favorite love song coming from your lips. Singing is a very emotional form of communication, and if you put your heart into it, you can be sure she’ll give you hers for another year.
- Create a Valentines Day Mood: Decorate the house with candles, flowers and red ribbons. Send the kids to a babysitter (if you have any), play romantic music and enjoy a night in together.
- Recreate your honeymoon: While it may not be practical or affordable to spend a week in Mexico, you can recreate your honeymoon at home. Put up some decorations, eat a favorite meal you enjoyed on your honeymoon, and go through your photo album.

Your don’t necessarily have to spend a lot of money to make the day special, but a little thought and planning can go a long way, and she’ll remember and appreciate it for years to come.
